I hope this finds you warm & well.
Today was Epiphany. Here’s that infallible source’s entry on the day. I’ve never taken the time to read up on Epiphany. What I know of the day and its celebration are from childhood tradition: Today’s the day Christmas comes down.
I should count up the number of mini-lights we had up inside that I had to take down because I can tell you the living and dining rooms are dark absent that number of lights. The whole house is darker. Miss M and I have reconceived the dead sticks display behind the television but we anxiously await Daughter C’s return to the Farm. Wave that magic Art wand!
Christmas is religiously & officially over. Ah, well. Thank the Good Lord Almighty we live in Mississippi where it’s Almost Summer season!
