To veganize, use vegetarian baked beans, omit cheese, bacon, and Worcestershire sauce.
HOT MEXICAN BEAN DIP
Makes 3 C
28 oz can pork and beans in tomato sauce, mashed
½ C shredded sharp yellow cheese
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp salt
Dash cayenne pepper
2 tsp vinegar
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp liquid smoke
4 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drained, and crumbled
Corn chips or tortilla chips (for serving)
Combine all ingredients except bacon and chips, and heat through. Top with bacon. Serve with chips.
