Not frequently talked about, but you may recall that for what seems like forever Mr. Big Food has been putting together the– no, THE– definitive collection of American music. It’s called The Redneck Collection and in CD form it’s well over 50 CDs. That’s a lot of American music.
Frankly, I like listening to the music in chronological order, that is, in the order in which the individual CDs were made back in the crappy olden days before Mr. Big Food switched everything to mp3. But it is fun to listen randomly as we have been doing a lot of recently. (It’s what we do now when there are no b’ball games on in the evening.)
Just the other day this song came on and now I cannot get it out of my head. I was humming it in Walmart this morning. Which, when I stop and think of it, is not a bad thing to be doing if you have to be in Walmart. But I digress.
I didn’t see any particular reason you, too, shouldn’t be humming along. So give it a listen. If you’re interested in obtaining for yourself one of the 15 CDs (albums) on which this song was recorded you can buy it here.
