EOM: end of month/May

It was a pretty typical Sunday. We did our weekly shopping at the Piglet this morning and heard some bad news. D.C. is in the hospital in Tupelo. Open heart surgery. I wonder if Miss M has any get well cards.

We then did our normal post-grocery shopping things and got outside to do as many of our outside chores as we could before it started to rain.

We made it to 3pm.

It is wet out there. It’s really too wet to do anything but some things just have to get done.

I found three stinkin’ stink bugs two of which had already laid eggs. The problem with diatomaceous earth is that it has to be reapplied after a rain. That’d be like doing it once or twice a day for the last 40 days now.

My plan is to just throw as much peat & manure on things as I can.

Miss M just called. There are three deer in the driveway. I’ve see these three before. They are getting mighty brazen. They’d better watch out for Tiger!

Also– burgers for supper.
