I am not one to criticize local custom but, c’mon, man. Six inches is not enough.

It has been so hot for so long that the cold water coming out of the “city” water pipes is warm enough to take a bath in on a cool Autumn day.

The folks in charge really should think about the merits of burying pipes >6″ beneath the soil surface.

Added benefit of >6: the freaking pipes wouldn’t freeze when it’s so cold for so long.

And folks wonder why no one voluntarily immigrates to rural Mississippi.

It’s the lack of internet, stupid!

“Yes, Missy?”

“Thanks for putting ice in our water bowls.”

“You are welcome, Missy!”

“ruuuffff fff f …”

“What’s that Rocky? I can’t hear you over the noise of the ceiling, box and tower fans.”
