I don’t think this matters a ton but, the “fictional rodent” description isn’t quite accurate. Muad’Dib is a human character sort of like a Jedi or a magical Bedouin from the sci-fi book “Dune” and movie of the same name.
The character’s original name is Paul Atreides, and he takes on the name Muad’Dib in part of the book as a sort of “native name”, kinda like Dances with Wolves. In the book the name Muad’Dib refers to a shadow on the planet’s moon that looks like a little mouse, but the character is a human, not a rodent.
If it’s too late to change it doesn’t matter, but I thought I would clarify in case Jordan or anyone else was wondering.
Also. Please note that I misunderstood Kat’s earlier note to me regarding the spelling of Mouse-Man’s Dune name. Geeze.
I will stop everything I am doing and make the necessary corrections.
We cannot abide this sort of misspelling, misinformation and confusion at The Dinner Party!
