The first thing you need to do when you have a job is to
SHOW THE FU [sorry] show up for work.
I’ll leave it to you to amuse yourselves this evening while Mr. Big Food and I enjoy a lovely evening in the airport in Tel Aviv.
Our flight was scheduled to depart at 12:45am– that’s 00:45 non-American time notation. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the gate around 10:30pm, we were told that the pilot had not shown up for work.
I talked to Kat. (Turns out at least some of the folks at Verizon do show up for work and I have phone service.)
I’m calm, cool and collected. And we have vouchers for food! YEA!
When I get back to the Farm, I am writing a letter to Bibi. I’m going to tell him that we really enjoyed our stay in his country but I’m not coming back until people get back to work.
