One of the things I’ve noticed recently is the statement made that “xx or xxx people died” or might have died, or would die if…” usually to indicate the horror and guilt of some party or other.
Well…it’s a sad thing, as you say. But…I have news for some of those people: ALL of them are going to die. It may be sooner or later, but ultimately it comes to all of us.
It seems that some people are of the opinion that if we just do things the right way, people (or at least _some_ people) are going to live forever. I got news for them…ain’t going to happen that way!
