As I– a fallen blogger with five years & 3000 some odd posts– am attempting to get back in there, I have vowed to follow Gerard VanderLeun’s rule of blogging (for which I cannot find the link right now) and blog the hell out of everything for six months. But as I– fallen blogger that I am– have to orchestrate an SEC tailgate for 120+ people on Saturday, and must restore my home, which has fallen into something just short of neglect on account of the fact that the garden was most productive this year (priorities), and now is in a state of superficial chaos, along with the garden (the dust & the floors are a particular embarrassment; it’s time to call it on the tomatoes), in advance of a house guest, and plan a party (!), and prepare for upcoming travel, AND follow hurricanes in the Atlantic for Miss M and in the Gulf for us, AND do philosophy & baseball, I fell down on the blog posting thing again.
Gosh. That sentence got sort of weedy, didn’t it? Does it even have an object? I think so. Point is, there’s a lot going on. There’s only so much I can do and then blog.
So we’ll parse these things into as many posts as I can do while keeping my eyes open.
We’ll start with Philosophy & Baseball. And I hope to get to Hurricanes, but we’ll see.
Oh! And categorizing the uncategorized. I’ve been doing that, too. Turns out, the vast majority of “uncategorized” posts were posts from when the site was .blogspot.com posts. At the time, there were no categories at blogspot.
