A sheet of menu cards

I’d like to draw your attention to a few things. First, appreciate how accommodating Mr. Big Food is with respect to menu planning. Something for everyone. ABCVegVGF. We had to make a separate stop in our Tuesday is tailgate shopping day to get GF bread.

[No sides are listed b/c The Dean has asked others to provide side dishes, which means The Dean & his wife will bring potato salad.]

Second– and of course you can’t tell this from the menu– the beef burgers will be made with freshly ground beef. There are three GIANT beef chuck steaks sitting on the shelf in the Bunkhouse fridge just waiting to come into the kitchen Friday to be sliced up and fed through the meat grinder.

Third, the burgers will be grilled on site. We’ll pack up the flat top propane grill and cart it to the tailgate site. Mr. Big Food will cook to order. It will be impressive!

Oh. Dang. I forgot to include the cheeses on the menu. Oh well.

Fourth, I printed up about 20 cards. I’ll distribute them personally. They’ll be passed around & shared. But I ask, who makes menu cards for a tailgate? And on good paper, too! It’s remarkable civilized, don’t you think?
