Followed The J-man as he was coming up the drive– and you’ll recall the driveway is about 2/10th of a mile long. Followed him up to the porch of the apartment where he (The J-man, not the dog) dried him off. Everyone gathered ’round the wet, shivering, blind in one eyed dog who was very sociable. Fed him some kibble, gave him some water, and took him to the workshop where he’d be warmer. Within, I’d say, 45 minutes The J-Man had taken this photo, Daughter C had called the vet and gotten a number to which to text the pic for posting on the vet’s fb page, I had found an online lost pet site and was filling in details, Daughter C had whipped up the flier, I’d printed them, and she was in her car headed out to put them up.
Turns out, the girl next door (the one at the other end of the driveway) had just the day before rescued the blind in one eyed dog. He wasn’t so much lost as he was wandering around his new neighborhood in the rain.
