Mr. Big Food used chocolate covered macadamia nuts rather than Hershey bars. Perfect little snack on a cold winter’s day.
HERSHEY COOKIE BARS AND VARIATION

- 2 C flour
- 1 C brown sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 C 2 sticks butter, softened
- 8- oz Hershey Bar broken into chunks
- Preheat oven to 350o. Mix together flour, brown sugar, vanilla, egg, and butter, spread on lightly greased cookie sheet, and bake 25 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with candy chunks and put back into oven to melt. Cut while warm.
VARIATION Cover with 1 C finely ground nuts before cutting into squares.
