Pay attention

Late this afternoon, the wind shifted from the south / southeast to the west. It got windy.

And then, around 7pm, the wind died down entirely.

At 8 it had picked up decidedly, coming from the west.

By the time I let Missy out– thirty minutes ago– it was pelting rain and the wind was coming from the northwest.

Missy did what she needed to do and is now resting comfortably back here in the Den.

We are warm & dry and I’m monitoring the situation.

I put a bunch of hay in the sheep shack yesterday, and some feed. Stupid sheep will be fine. Tiger’s good to go in the workshop.

Humans are prepared.
