For a bit more than one hour, electricity ceased to flow– as if by magic– from the holes in the walls. I almost said we were without power but that’s not true. I have ~400Wh sitting right over there!
Honestly, I did not see it coming. My bad. I, of course, did have a flashlight in my pocket, but the storms were far worse to the south. There was a lot of lightening so maybe a transformer was hit. Or maybe Bubba just drove his truck off the road and hit a pole. He does stuff like that sometimes.
Not to worry. I got it covered. Called Mr. Big Food who asked if I was going to get the generator out. Nah. Plugged the NOAA radio (1 watt) and the PWS monitor (5 watts) into the Jackery (output = 6 watts).
Back to work!
