I am confused about something. I’ve been doing some research regarding an upcoming purchase of a couple to things involving electricity. Customer service at the company seems not to understand my question, and the more I tried figuring out the answer to my particular question, the more I wanted to learn the general principles underlying the answer. So I– as we say these days– reached out. (What a stupid phrase.)
I joined a prepper forum and posted my question. I haven’t been on a forum in a coon’s age– had forgotten what fun they can be. I eventually got a couple of satisfying answers but had to wade through a lot of non-answers, too. No. A solar panel weather radio doesn’t actually answer my question about amps and watts and what have you. But thanks. Looks like a fun place to hang around every now & again.
While I was waiting for a satisfying answer, I joined a forum about solar stuff. This was more difficult b/c I had to wait to be approved. Posted a very specific question in general terms, followed by particular terms (no links), and stated that I’d like to understand the reason for the answer. First response out of the box:
Don’t know if you’re serious or if you’re just trying to generate sales of these items.
Seriously? Why would you think that? Why wouldn’t you give me the benefit of the doubt? FFS. I said I wanted to learn and you people say you know what I want to learn. Why are you so cynical? Must be a miserable PoS in real life. My reply is awaiting moderation.
Drudge work Monday! Yay!
