Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer, do,
I’m half crazy all for the love of you.
It won’t be a stylish marriage,
I can’t afford a carriage,
But you’d look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle made for two.

I love daisies! They were our flower at our wedding…38 years ago. Instead of a veil, I wore a headband of daisies… Kind of hippie. Or maybe really hippie!
When we were stationed at Monterey, we had “daisies” called Marguerites. They were a bushy type plant, perennial in California, and omnipresent. Practically weeds. Now I can’t find them. I find plants that sort of _look_ like them – but aren’t the same. There’s a yellow flower that has practically the same growth pattern and leaf pattern, but it’s _yellow_. (the bloom, I mean). Completely yellow. Not white with a yellow center…all yellow. It’s a fine plant – but not what I’m looking for.
Guess I’ll keep looking. I have no doubt I’ll find them about 1 month before we move somewhere else!
