(Though there’s a case to be made the first– on which Pliny’s was modeled– was set down sometime in the last century before Christ.) So let’s say 2000 years ago. 1961 to 2011 is 50 years. So moronic dudette Lilac informs us that in the 2.5% of years between the first, and her contemporary CD encyclopedia– years not included in a 1961 encyclopedia– a lot has happened. Really?
