So today I cried. It’s April 7th– Miss M’s birthday. And I missed it.
But there was Tiger’s cameo appearance in the Business Ethics Video
So there was that. Which led us to rent, for Three Dollars and Ninety Nine Cents, A Beautiful Mind— the 2001 movie about John Nash– at the end of the evening. Made it all the way through which is good b/c if I had quit 1/2 way through, I’d have been really depressed
Mind. That was after I had to don a mask and gloves to go restart the satellite up in the In-Laws home away from Incubator abode after the satellite lost signal on account of the rain. They are still in quarantine and I had done the weekly trek– N95 mask and gloves– to the grocery. That was before I realized it was 4/7
And now. Mr. Big Food has informed me that John Prine has passed.
Here’s another thing that ticks me off. Our nearest neighbor is about 1/4 mile away from us. But I can see his backdoor from my front door. And for the past three weeks, three or four times a week, there’s been a congregation of cars and trucks at his back door.
The editor of our local newspaper knows me. And when I dashed out a letter to the editor with the phrase, “Stay the F at home,” he called and asked it I really wanted him publish it, I
