So here’s what happened. The NHC (Hurricane) at the NWS— the big guys— do their first daily briefing with discussion at 5 (eastern). There have been changes concerning Sally. Shortly after 5 this morn (central), the kids at NOLA NWS said, “OMG! Sally’s coming! She’s a hurricane!! Let’s wake everybody up and tell em.” And then they mashed the button and pissed everybody off.
