In the next book

I am going to name the little armadillo Manny. He’s not the brightest bulb on the tree– he can’t figure out nouns from verbs– but on our way back from the field trip to French Camp Observatory, Manny is going to ask the insightful question.

Which will take a lot of work to answer. Especially since I don’t have an answer.

I think I will insist that he be in a cat carrier. So when he’s startled– as he surely will be– he’s only going to bonk himself on the head on the top of the cat carrier. Much safer than being run over.
