Smidgen more of the Balloon Festival yesterday. Quite interesting seeing them throw flame into the ballon as it lay on the ground and then finally rose into the air. Rides were supposed to start at 5pm, and the line was long, but they just couldn’t get it full enough. That’s it on the right as it fell back to earth as we were leaving.

See the woman in the black dress? She wasn’t from around here and by that I mean there was a car in the lot with California tags and it must have been hers or someone in her group. She approached the woman taking the picture and, though out of ear shot, she must have asked her to photograph her. Who would mind doing that? The photographer shows her the picture and apparently it was not up to snuff b/c the photographer then goes back and snaps two more from a slightly different perspective. Two because she needs one with sunglasses on and another with them off. Guess what? Still not FB worthy I guess because the photographer does this two more times (x2).

Can you imagine? You’re asking a stranger to keep taking your picture until she gets it right? Rude, I thought. But as I said, I don’t think she was from around here. I mean, who wears a black dress outside when it’s 100* in the shade?
