Time for another post if only to keep my fingers moving.
Power is out. No one answered at the office–or they were so overloaded it went straight to voicemail. Fortunately, I have a guy’s cell number. He said TVA had hit some limit and everyone downstream has to shut down for 15 minutes periodically throughout the day, unless something else goes wrong. Fifteen minutes has turned into 50 so far.
Still no LP delivery. Propane guy’s truck froze up over night and at 10:30am he was just getting it cranked, we hope & pray. Generator is running. I’ve turned pretty much everything off and have turned the thermostat down to 60˚.
But! The Czech Christmas bread is rising so there’s that!
