Recipe: Cherry Coke Salad

Cherries + Coke. Not cherry coke. Easily halved.

Serves 16

2 3-oz packages cherry jello
No. 2 can (2½ C, 20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained, liquid reserved
No. 303 can (1¾ C, 14 to 18 oz) black cherries, drained, quartered, liquid reserved
2 12-oz bottles Coca-Cola
1 C pecans, chopped

Combine cherry liquid and pineapple liquid with enough water to make 2 C, heat, and dissolve jello in hot liquid. Add Coca-Cola. When jello mixture starts to jell, stir in pineapple, cherries, and pecans, and chill in refrigerator until set.
