We had an isolated thunderstorm about five minutes after I got the new personal weather station sensor mounted–maybe 1:30 or so. Temperature dropped 20 degrees in a matter of minutes and we got just over a quarter of an inch of rain. Just enough to steam the place up nicely.
Speaking of steam, steamed shrimp with scampi butter (or some such) for supper tonight. But first, let’s put some ice in a glass.
(I hope Rocky makes it through the summer. The heat is taking more and more of a toll on him. In other dog news, I’m calling Monday to schedule surgery for Missy. Lump on her leg.)
