I am looking to backup my card catalog onto a different app/program. (See: Department of Redundancy Department.) With 3683 (give or take) physical books, plus the catalogs of vinyl, DVDs, et cetera, this will be a monumental undertaking. Taking a few minutes to poke around and I came across this:

LibraryThing has both a desktop interface and an app, which means you can use and access your cataloged book collection from both your computer and phone. And one of the best features of the app is that they have a built-in book scanner so you can simply scan the barcode on your books to enter it into your collections! This is so much easier than having to manually enter books using ISBN numbers or title and author information (although these features are also available).
