Easter Lily Cookies

Remove pan from oven, place on oven door, and quickly shape cookies into lilies.

Ah, yeah. As a reminder, immediately running cold water over a burn is the way to go.

EASTER LILY COOKIES

1 C egg yolks
1 C sugar
½ tsp vanilla
Pinch salt
1 C flour
Sweetened whipped cream and cherries (for garnish, when ready to serve)

Preheat oven to 375˚. Beat egg yolks until light, then add sugar gradually, beating constantly. Add vanilla and salt, then stir in flour with a spoon. Drop batter onto greased baking tin and spread out, making 3-4 flat circles 2 ½ to 3 inches in diameter. Bake 10-13 minutes or until tinged with brown. Remove pan from oven, place on oven door, and quickly shape cookies into lilies. Serve filled with whipped cream and garnished with cherries.
