Noticeably absent? Tire tracks. No mail since Monday. No trash pickup yesterday. Clearly no movement on the truck’s part. Our neighbors have been coming and going. In retrospect, I probably should have driven down the driveway once a day. Live & learn.

It’s Marica cooks Wednesday (complicated week). Breakfast for supper including Cottage Cheese Pancakes whose wet and dry ingredients are in two separate bowls because it’s easier to measure ingredients when the lights are on and I’m not taking any chances. Our old friend the cedar tree.
